Glenfinnan Coffee Co. started in 2022 with a little coffee wagon beside the church in Glenfinnan.

We served people on their way somewhere — heading to the viaduct, travelling west to the coast and islands, alongside the people who live and work here. The wagon became a meeting place between those passing through and those who call this place home.

Maybe that’s why the journey has always meant something to us.

Travel gives you space to think, be curious and wonder what’s around the next corner. Sometimes you come home with a good story. Sometimes a new idea. Occasionally it changes your direction altogether.

That’s pretty much what happened to us.

The wagon made us curious about coffee, and eventually led us to roasting it ourselves on our croft here in Lochaber.

Life here is fairly rustic — ducks and chickens wandering around, fresh eggs, muffins baking and now coffee roasting. Our aim is simple: as much as possible, what we sell is grown, baked, roasted or made right here. What comes next? We’re not entirely sure yet.

We’re rooted here, but always curious about what’s out there. And if something we’ve made becomes a small part of your journey — or simply a good coffee for the road — we’re pretty chuffed about that.
